Last year, the Governor tried to cut school aid in the 101st Assembly District by $7.5 million. Not only did Assemblymember Cahill restore all of that cut, he helped secure over $1.7 million more to our schools than they received the previous year. This year, the Governor’s proposed budget threatens our schools by cutting nearly $400,000 in aid to schools in the 101st Assembly District. Once again, Assemblymember Cahill will fight to protect our children’s education. |
