A Real Plan To Help Our Kids Learn....

As a proud father, Assemblyman Butler understands that a quality education begins with a safe and supportive learning environment. Parents and students should be confident that schools in New York state meet certain basic criteria designed to fulfill the individual needs of every child.

That is why Assemblyman Butler is fighting for real reforms and initiatives that will make our local schools better. By changing the way the system works, we can provide students with the necessary resources to be successful in life.

Assemblyman Marc Butler’s
Education Plan:
  • Fight for our fair share of state education dollars so we can hire and keep the best teachers, reduce class size and bring new technology to the classroom.
  • Work for real accountability standards for teachers, administrators and students...then give them the tools they need to meet those standards.
  • Increase local control in our schools and find new, innovative ways to encourage parental involvement.
  • Enact reforms to the state budget process to prevent school districts from undertaking costly borrowing.
