Community meetings with
Assemblywoman
Barbara Lifton

Dear Neighbor,

As we begin the 2011 session, the “jobless recovery” continues in our state and country, and we face another difficult budget struggle in Albany. I have worked hard over the years to fight for a sound economy with good jobs, to ensure our children receive a quality, affordable education, and to make sure our families have access to top-notch health care.

I am hosting a series of town meetings in February to give an overview of the governor’s proposed budget and to hear what you think about the possible paths we can take to achieve a final budget. I am eager to hear your views and have an open discussion about the critical choices we face.

I hope you can find the time to join in this important discussion. Please come to any meeting in the district that fits your schedule.
