Do millionaires really deserve another tax break Dec. 31?

Join Assemblymember Sam Roberts and say
NO to a tax break for those making $1,000,000 and more
“Our schools, hospitals and communities cannot afford to pay for another tax cut for millionaires.”

– Assemblymember
Sam Roberts
The NYS Division of Budget recently announced the budget gap for next year will be upwards of $3.5 billion — almost $1 billion more than anticipated.

While the rest of New York is stuck with:
  • Higher property taxes
  • More teacher layoffs
  • Larger class sizes
  • Higher health care costs
  • Higher college education costs
With the millionaire tax break set for year’s end, the richest 1 percent of New Yorkers will get an average tax cut of $87,500 from the state.
