TIRED OF MONEY
BEING SIPHONED RIGHT
FROM YOUR POCKET?

Assemblyman Brian Kolb says “ENOUGH is ENOUGH!”

With the continual increases in property taxes, health care, and energy costs squeezing family budgets, it has become more difficult for families to afford to live and work here in New York. In the Finger Lakes region and across Central New York, there is yet another item that drains money from our pockets – gasoline. The price at the pump has increased about 30 percent over last year and continues to skyrocket. Clearly, something needs to be done!

Kolb Plan for Motorist Relief
checkmark Eliminate all gas taxes from Memorial Day to Labor Day, saving the taxpayers approximately $128.6 million or 32 cents per gallon.
checkmark Convince counties to participate and suspend their portion of the gas tax so taxpayers can save an additional $222.3 million.
checkmark Redirect a portion of the revenue generated by gas taxes, car registration and license renewal fees to be used specifically for renewable energy initiatives.
checkmark Reverse the state Thruway Authority’s decision to increase toll fares and require the state Legislature to authorize any increase in tolls.
