Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,I,C-Canandaigua) is pictured (standing) delivering his remarks before members of the Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY) during their "Manufacturing Day" event convened in Albany earlier this week.

Kolb, who started and ran successful manufacturing companies prior to entering public service, discussed the critical importance of rebuilding New York's manufacturing sector and outlined key provisions of his legislation "The Manufacturing Preservation and Enhancement Act." Kolb's initiative will deliver targeted tax credits and other benefits to support the growth and preservation of manufacturing jobs.

Leader Kolb also served as Chair of the Assembly Minority Conference's Manufacturing Task Force and traveled statewide to hear directly from manufacturing CEOs, managers and front-line employees about what state government can do to stop hurting and start helping this critical sector of New York's economy.
