Dear Friends:

The Assembly Minority Conference and I would like to welcome you to the Second Annual Sportsmen and Outdoor Recreation Legislative Awareness Day. Due to the overwhelming attendance at last year’s event – nearly 2,000 outdoor enthusiasts – we’ve decided to make this an annual gathering.

The Assembly Minority Conference would like to thank all of the speakers, event sponsors, hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation vendors and enthusiasts that have helped make this event a continued success.

During these tough economic times, it is important that we join together to promote economically vital outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, ATV riding, and snowmobiling that we enjoy with our families and friends. Once you leave us today, please continue to advocate in your community by writing your elected officials, sending letters to the editor, and calling talk radio.

I hope you enjoy your day in Albany and have the opportunity to meet with your Assembly Member or Senator. If I can ever be of assistance to you, please call my office at (518) 455-3751 or e-mail me at kolbb@assembly.state.ny.us.

Sincerely,
