Assemblyman Bill Reilich

Dear Small-business Owner:

As a former small business owner for nearly 30 years, I know you experience excessive health insurance costs, burdensome government regulations and sky-high taxes. In fact, the challenges I experienced as the owner of a small business in New York State led me to run for public office so I could be an advocate for our small-business owners – the backbone of our economy.

I am pleased with my appointment as chair of the Assembly Minority Small Business Task Force. I know you are the real small business expert, so I want to hear your concerns and urge your involvement. I believe my job as task force chair is to listen to your concerns, gather the facts and act by introducing legislation that would help alleviate some of the burdens shouldered by small business owners.

I authored legislation that would help alleviate some of the burdens. This bill, A.9394, has been dubbed the “Small Business Improvement Act of 2006.” Contact my district office and I will be happy to provide you with a copy or discuss it in more detail.

As always, if you have any issues or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
