A road map to understanding what is happening in Albany

Assemblyman Reilich

Dear Neighbor:

As your Assemblyman, one of my top priorities is meeting the important needs of our community.

This Constituent Outreach Guide contains information on my RESTORE NY plan which addresses topics like investing in education, providing property tax relief, and keeping our communities safe.

Please know that my staff and I are here to help. We can answer questions or address any concerns you may have regarding state government. We can also assist you in dealing with federal and local government.

This guide also contains a card on which you can request a copy of my property tax relief plan. Simply fill out, detach the card and mail it back to my district office.

Finally, I want to encourage all my constituents, no matter how big or small a problem or concern might seem, to contact my office. I’m here to serve you!

Sincerely,

98% of all New York businesses are small businesses. It is imperative we do everything possible to foster small business growth and encourage new companies to choose New York as a place to do business.

Bill Reilich knows Monroe County homeowners need real property tax relief. His RESTORE NY plan would make property tax relief a reality by:
  • Strengthening the School Tax Relief (STAR) program

  • Creating an Inspector General for School Districts for greater accountability in school budgeting

  • Saving Monroe County homeowners millions by eliminating waste, fraud and abuse in the Medicaid program

Bill Reilich’s RESTORE NY plan would help keep our families safe. Here’s how:

  • Require the civil confinement and lifetime registration of dangerous sex offenders

  • Create "Pedophile Free Zones" to ban sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of schools, playgrounds, day care centers and parks

  • Ensure countywide notification so residents of a community know when a sex offender moves into a neighborhood
