Two years ago it was unthinkable that the Governor and a State Commission would agree to go against Albany’s powerful special interests and talk openly about a property tax cap.

Thanks to Bill Reilich and a few bold members of the state Legislature, the Governor and the State Commission on Property Tax Relief have decided to support a property tax cap.

Property tax relief will still face fierce opposition in the State Assembly, but as long as Bill Reilich is representing us in Albany, he will keep fighting for middle-class tax relief.
