Reilich Secures Funding For Kidney Screening In Brockport
Assemblyman to sponsor free kidney screening at Brockport Free Methodist Church

Assemblyman Bill Reilich (R,C,I-Greece), together with the National Kidney Foundation, will be sponsoring a free kidney screening for the Brockport community with funding he secured. The screenings are scheduled for Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Brockport Free Methodist Church. While walk-ins will be accepted, individuals are encouraged to call the Kidney Foundation at (585) 697-0874 ext. 34 ahead of time to pre-register.

"According to the National Kidney Foundation, 1 in 9 adults in Upstate New York have chronic kidney disease and they don't even know it. The best way to prevent kidney disease from turning into kidney failure is through early detection," stated Reilich. "The health and well-being of our community is very important to me. I am proud to be able to bring this health event to the Brockport area and look forward to meeting people from the community who take advantage of this free kidney screening."
