Assemblyman Tom O'Mara - Putting Taxpayers First

Tom O’Mara:
Fighting for New York Taxpayers
2010 Budget Update
Job Creation
This year, Assemblyman O’Mara voted against slashing funding for job creation, business investments and other incentives to revitalize the state’s economy. Sadly, at a time when unemployment in the state is skyrocketing, state government is spending more on public assistance and welfare instead of helping New Yorkers get back to work.
From working to cap property taxes and the growth of state spending, to voting against nearly $1.5 billion in new taxes and fees in this year’s budget, Assemblyman Tom O’Mara has led the fight to protect taxpayers during this year’s budget process.

Tom O’Mara, a proven record of fighting for New York’s Taxpayers.

By changing how business is done in Albany, we can, in fact, make New York a more desirable place to live and work while strengthening the state’s economy and creating jobs.
