Preserving the State’s Conservation Fund
An avid fisherman, Tom O’Mara is working to ensure that all license fees are used only to support the state’s hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities! Assemblyman O’Mara is adamant that the fees should not be stolen and used for other programs by big government.

  • Enact legislation allowing the use of a rifle to hunt deer. (Chapter 296, L. 2007 and Chapter 441. L. 2009)
  • Pass legislation creating a big game junior hunting license. (Chapter 344, L. 2009)
  • Defeat downstate legislators’ attempt to pass the costly and ineffective microstamping legislation. (A.6468c)
  • Create the junior mentor hunting program. (Chapter 344, L. 2008)
