  • Reduce taxes on local businesses to help create more jobs

  • Provide a tax credit to businesses that pay for student’s higher education tuition in exchange for the individual agreeing to work for the business

  • Establish partnerships between businesses and school districts to train our young adults for 21st century jobs

  • Increase state aid for courses that emphasize math and science to keep our young people competitive in the global market

  • Freeze SUNY and CUNY tuition while students are enrolled in the program

  • Create a loan forgiveness program for math, science, engineering and high-tech graduates

“Each year, New York fights an uphill battle as an increasing number of our young adults flee to surrounding states with better economic opportunities. It is clear that the loss of our best and brightest young college graduates continues to have a devastating effect on our economy. That’s why it is important, now more than ever, that we foster an environment with ample economic opportunity and help reduce the financial burden on our young graduates.” Assemblyman
