Spring 2006

Dear Friend:

In January, the Governor submitted his $110.7 billion budget to the Legislature. I am often asked, “Where does the money come from and where does it go?” I have included two graphs to help answer that question.

Below you will find a questionnaire seeking your views on many issues that may come before the State Legislature in the future. I hope that you will take the time to respond to this questionnaire, and for all those who return it, I will send a tabulation of the results.

I will continue to keep your thoughts in mind as I address the various issues that come before me this year. If you have any questions, please contact my district office at 664-7773 in the southern part of Chautauqua or 672-7050 in the northern part of the county, or e-mail parmentw@assembly.state.ny.us.

Sincerely,
