For years, I have been a leading advocate for rebuilding the entire World Trade Center site. I want to thank Larry Silverstein for his continued investment in Lower Manhattan and for his unwavering dedication to our community. The decision to build 3 World Trade Center is another huge vote of confidence in our ability to recover and to thrive. As we continue to rebuild as a 24/7 mixed-use community, 3 World Trade Center will stand as a powerful testament to Lower Manhattan’s place as the center of global commerce and as an anchor of one of New York City’s greatest neighborhoods.
