                            ADVOCATE FOR BUSINESS
                       (Technical Assistance Program)

Objective:  Provides information and assistance to businesses regarding workers' compensation insurance, plays  
     a critical role in representing the views of the business community in modifying existing policies and
     procedures while seeking ways to curb escalating costs to employers; conducts outreach to businesses for the
     purpose of educating them on how the workers' compensation system works in NY; and serves as a
     representative in economic development.

Eligibility:  The Board's Advocate for Business provides services to all New York State businesses, including local 
     governments.

Type of Program and Special Restrictions:  Optional, without any State or Federal mandated require-   
     ments.
