SERVICES PROVIDED: Job skills upgrading training
ADMINISTRATIVE AGENCY: Jointly administered by the Department of Labor and the Empire State Development Corporation
ELIGIBLE SERVICE PROVIDERS: An employer or an employer in conjunction with a labor organization, a strategic alliance or network or association of employers with common problems or concerns, a private industry council established pursuant to the federal JTPA, or one or more local workforce investment boards established pursuant to the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA)

DESCRIPTION: STRAP seeks to fund projects designed to assist business by solving common workforce problems and upgrading worker skills required to compete in the global economy.
