  TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend chapter 455 of the laws of 2011 amending the environ- mental conservation law relating to authorizing angling by a single individual with up to three lines in freshwater, in relation to the effectiveness thereof   PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: Eliminates the expiration date and extends the date to two years from expiration, with provisions of law authorizing an individual to fish with up to 3 lines in freshwater.   SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: This legislation amends chapter 455 of the laws of 2011, amending the environmental conservation law relating to authorizing angling by a single individual with up to three lines in freshwater, in relation to making provisions thereof permanent.   JUSTIFICATION: The original legislation (Chapter 455, L. 2011) expires on December 31, 2023. This bill will extend the legislation to December 31, 2025.   PRIOR LEGISLATIVE HISTORY: A6305/S2044 of 2021: Signed Chapter 281 A8140/S2461 of 2019: Signed Chapter 394 A7742/S6239 of 2017: Signed Chapter 207   FISCAL IMPLICATIONS FOR STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS: None   EFFECTIVE DATE: This act shall take effect immediately.

        AN ACT to amend chapter 455 of the laws of 2011  amending  the  environ-
          mental  conservation  law  relating to authorizing angling by a single
          individual with up to three lines in freshwater, in  relation  to  the
          effectiveness thereof

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 455 of the laws of 2011  amending  the
     2  environmental  conservation  law  relating  to  authorizing angling by a
     3  single individual with up to three lines in freshwater,  as  amended  by
     4  chapter 281 of the laws of 2021, is amended to read as follows:
     5    §  2.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
     6  deemed repealed December 31, [2023] 2025.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
