        Introduced  by  M.  of A. MONTESANO, RAIA, FINCH, McDONOUGH -- read once
          and referred to the Committee on Insurance
 
        AN ACT to amend the insurance law, in relation to rate filings for home-
          owner's insurance policies
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Paragraphs 12 and 13 of subsection (b) of section 2305 of
     2  the insurance law, as amended by section 9 of part AAA of chapter 59  of
     3  the laws of 2017, are amended and a new paragraph 14 is added to read as
     4  follows:
     5    (12) gap insurance; [and]
     6    (13)  private  passenger  automobile  insurance, except as provided in
     7  section two thousand three hundred fifty of this article[,];and
     8    (14) homeowner's insurance policies and subsequent  calculations  used
     9  to  determine  the  increased  value  of dwelling limits for purposes of
    10  determining dwelling protection coverage.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day  after  it  shall
    12  have become a law.
