AN ACT requiring the division of housing and community renewal to take a
parcel of land through the eminent domain procedure
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. The legislature hereby finds that it is necessary for a
2 public purpose to procure certain property within the city of New York.
3 To that extent, the commissioner of the division of housing and communi-
4 ty renewal is hereby directed to take, through the use of the eminent
5 domain procedure as established under the eminent domain procedure law,
6 the following parcels in Brooklyn:
7 (a) Lot 23, Walton Street, designated on the tax maps of such borough
8 as block 2249;
9 (b) Lot 37, 174 Harrison Avenue, designated on the tax maps of such
10 borough as block 2249;
11 (c) Lot 14, 334 Wallabout Street, designated on the tax maps of such
12 borough as block 2265;
13 (d) Lot 1, 611 Flushing Avenue, designated on the tax maps of such
14 borough as block 2268;
15 (e) Lot 1, 58 Gerry Street, designated on the tax maps of such borough
16 as block 2269;
17 (f) Lot 46, 75 Gerry Street, designated on the tax maps of such
18 borough as block 2266;
19 (g) Lot 7, 76 Hopkins Street, designated on the tax maps of such
20 borough as block 1725;
21 (h) Lot 122, 243 Wallabout Street, designated on the tax maps of such
22 borough as block 2249; and
23 (i) Lot 41, 249 Wallabout Street, designated on the tax maps of such
24 borough as block 2249.
25 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
