        AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to appointment of election
          inspectors by minority parties
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section  8-202 of the election law is amended by adding a
     2  new subdivision 3 to read as follows:
     3    3. In addition to election inspectors as appointed by the major  poli-
     4  tical  parties  pursuant to section 3-400 of this chapter, each minority
     5  party shall be entitled to appoint  one  election  inspector  who  shall
     6  possess  all of the powers of inspectors of the majority party and whose
     7  duties shall be determined by  the  chairman  and  board  of  inspectors
     8  acting pursuant to this section.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
