        AN ACT to amend the public service law, in  relation  to  directing  the
          public  service  commission  to establish and implement a plan to make
          the state solely reliant on renewable sources of energy by January  1,
          2052
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 5 of the public service law is amended by adding  a
     2  new subdivision 7 to read as follows:
     3    7.  The  commission  shall  develop  and  implement a plan whereby all
     4  sources of energy generation in this state shall be renewable sources on
     5  or before January first, two thousand fifty-two.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
