        Introduced  by M. of A. WOERNER -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Labor
 
        AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to requirements for  agricul-
          tural employers' contributions to unemployment insurance
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Subparagraph 1 of paragraph (a) of subdivision 1 of section
     2  564 of the labor law, as added by chapter 675 of the laws  of  1977,  is
     3  amended to read as follows:
     4    (1)  has paid cash remuneration of [twenty] eighty thousand dollars or
     5  more in any calendar quarter to persons employed in agricultural  labor,
     6  and such liability shall commence on the first day of such quarter, or
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
