        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  alcoholic  beverage control law, in relation to
          requiring the chairman and commissioners of the state liquor authority
          to file certain disclosures

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section  11  of  the  alcoholic  beverage control law, as
     2  amended by section 2 of part E of chapter 57 of the  laws  of  2011,  is
     3  amended to read as follows:
     4    § 11. Appointment  of authority. The members of the authority shall be
     5  appointed by the governor by and with the  advice  and  consent  of  the
     6  senate.  Not  more than two members of the authority shall belong to the
     7  same political party. The  chairman  of  the  state  alcoholic  beverage
     8  control  board  heretofore  appointed and designated by the governor and
     9  the remaining members of such board heretofore appointed by the governor
    10  shall continue to serve as chairman and members of the  authority  until
    11  the  expiration  of  the respective terms for which they were appointed.
    12  Upon the expiration of such respective  terms  the  successors  of  such
    13  chairman  and  members  shall  be appointed to serve for a term of three
    14  years each and until their successors have been appointed and qualified.
    15  The commissioners, other than the chairman shall,  when  performing  the
    16  work  of  the  authority,  be compensated at a rate of two hundred sixty
    17  dollars per day, together with an allowance  for  actual  and  necessary
    18  expenses  incurred  in the discharge of their duties. The chairman shall
    19  receive an annual salary established in section one  hundred  sixty-nine
    20  of  the  executive  law.    Notwithstanding  any provision of law to the
    21  contrary, the chairman and each commissioner shall be required  to  file
    22  an  annual  statement of financial disclosure pursuant to section seven-
    23  ty-three-a of the public officers law.
    24    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
