        Introduced  by M. of A. SHIMSKY -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Local Governments
 
        AN ACT to repeal section 17 of chapter 7 of the laws of 2024 relating to
          establishing the  village  incorporation  commission;  and  to  repeal
          section  6  of chapter 10 of the laws of 2024 relating to the incorpo-
          ration of villages

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 17 of chapter 7 of the laws of 2024 is REPEALED.
     2    § 2. Section 6 of chapter 10 of the laws of 2024 is REPEALED.
     3    §  3.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
     4  have been in effect on and after January 1, 2024.
