ERRIGO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the transportation law, in relation to the approval or disapproval of any incentives or bonuses for any property which abuts a highway under the jurisdiction of the department of transportation The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 14 of the transportation law is amended by adding a 2 new subdivision 36 to read as follows: 3 36. To approve or disapprove of any zoning incentives or bonuses, as 4 approved by a town board pursuant to the town law, for any property 5 which abuts a highway under the jurisdiction of the department. 6 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted. LBD15120-02-8
