Woerner) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to automatically extend all students' compliance with health examination and immunization requirements in response to COVID-19 The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, in 2 response to the outbreak of novel coronavirus, COVID-19, any student who 3 was in compliance with the provisions of sections 903 or 904 of the 4 education law and section 2164 of the public health law for the 5 2019--2020 school year shall be deemed to be in compliance with such 6 provisions for the 2020--2021 school year. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted. LBD16265-01-0
