        Introduced  by M. of A. GUNTHER -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Cities
 
        AN ACT to amend the general city law, in relation to exempting the  city
          of  Middletown  from application of certain provisions of law relating
          to licensing of plumbers
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  1  of section 57 of the general city law, as
     2  amended by chapter 274 of the laws  of  2016,  is  amended  to  read  as
     3  follows:
     4    1.  This  article  shall not apply to any of the following cities: New
     5  York, Binghamton, Schenectady, Elmira, Beacon, Hornell,  Olean,  Middle-
     6  town and Poughkeepsie.
     7    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
     8  have become a law.
