CONGRATULATING the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club
upon the occasion of hosting its 50th Annual Home &
Lifestyle Show on March 2-3, 2024
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in the communities of New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those
organizations that distinguish themselves in their endeavors and in
service to their community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and fully in accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club upon the occasion of
hosting its 50th Annual Home & Lifestyle Show on March 2-3, 2024, at
Saratoga City Center in Saratoga Springs, New York; and
WHEREAS, Rotary International is dedicated to the development of
fellowship and understanding among business and professional leaders,
the promotion of community-betterment endeavors and of high standards in
business and professional practices, and the advancement of
international understanding, goodwill, and peace; and
WHEREAS, Every year, the Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs hosts a
Home & Lifestyle Show, with proceeds being distributed to community
non-profit organizations, youth scholarships, and international
humanitarian aid projects; and
WHEREAS, The members of the Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs are
business and community leaders with strong values of fellowship and
service. working together to make a difference in our community and
around the world; and
WHEREAS, Rotarians conduct themselves and their businesses with
honesty, integrity, friendliness, and fairness, welcoming new members
with similar values to join them in making a difference; and
WHEREAS, A variety of businesses will exhibit on the main floor of
the Saratoga Home & Lifestyle Show, including categories such as home
improvement, landscaping, décor and fine finishes, heating and plumbing,
pools, financial and professional services, and many more; and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating a showcase for artistic endeavors, the
Saratoga Home & Lifestyle Show Art Show is also on the main floor with
more than 25 artisans showing photography, painting, woodworking,
jewelry, and wine, with items available for purchase; and
WHEREAS, Adirondack Trust Company, Allerdice ACE Hardware, Granite &
Marble Works, Saratoga.com, Saratoga Today, Cudney's Cleaners, Stewart's
Shops, Sterling Manor Financial, LLC, Gamma Foods, Saratoga Builder's
Association and The Wesley Community all serve as outstanding sponsors
for the Saratoga Home and Lifestyle Show, making this event a rousing
success year in and year out; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that when
individuals and organizations host events which add significantly to
their respective communities are brought to our attention, they should
be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of the great State of
New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club upon the occasion of
hosting its 50th Annual Home & Lifestyle Show on March 2-3, 2024; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club.
