HONORING Tom Neumann upon the occasion of his
retirement from President and Chief Executive
Officer after 30 years of distinguished service to
First Source Federal Credit Union
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to acknowledge
those individuals whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to
enhance the stature of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Tom Neumann upon the occasion of his retirement from President and Chief
Executive Officer after 30 years of distinguished service to First
Source Federal Credit Union; and
WHEREAS, As of the first quarter of 2025, Tom Neumann will be
officially retiring as President and Chief Executive Officer of First
Source Federal Credit Union; the credit union has branches in New
Hartford, Washington Mills, south Utica, north Utica, Herkimer, and
Rome; and
WHEREAS, Joining the credit union in 1994, Tom Neumann throughout
the years of his career became the company's Chief Operating Officer,
then Executive Vice President, and finally was appointed President and
Chief Executive Officer in 2017; and
WHEREAS, For the past 30 years, Tom Neumann rendered faithful,
conscientious, and valuable service to First Source Federal Credit
Union; under his leadership, the company reaffirmed their commitment to
their vision, mission, and Member Value, established financial
sustainability, sharpened strategies for growth and innovation, and
developed an exceptional leadership for the future; and
WHEREAS, In his capacity as President and Chief Executive Officer,
Tom Neumann served with loyalty, honor and distinction; and
WHEREAS, In his official acts, Tom Neumann was governed by a keen
sense of duty and always showed a unique grasp of human problems; and
WHEREAS, During his tenure with First Source Federal Credit Union,
Tom Neumann earned the admiration, esteem and affection of his
colleagues; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Tom Neumann upon the occasion of his retirement from President and
Chief Executive Officer after 30 years of distinguished service to First
Source Federal Credit Union; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Tom Neumann.
