        AN  ACT  to amend the education law, in relation to requiring schools to
          provide teachers with written informational material  on  the  use  of
          epinephrine auto-injectors
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 921-a of the education law is amended by  adding  a
     2  new subdivision 3 to read as follows:
     3    3.  School  districts,  boards  of  cooperative  educational services,
     4  county vocational education and extension boards, charter  schools,  and
     5  non-public  elementary  and  secondary  schools  in  this state that are
     6  authorized to provide and maintain  epinephrine  auto-injectors  on-site
     7  pursuant  to this section shall provide all teachers with written infor-
     8  mational material on the use of an epinephrine  auto-injector  that  has
     9  been created and approved by the commissioner of health.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
