        Introduced  by Sen. BENJAMIN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Commerce, Economic  Devel-
          opment  and  Small Business -- reported favorably from said committee,

        AN ACT to amend the alcoholic  beverage  control  law,  in  relation  to
          notification  requirements  for  a seven day license to sell liquor at
          retail for consumption off the premises
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  1 of section 110-a of the alcoholic beverage
     2  control law, as added by chapter 77 of the laws of 1999, is  amended  to
     3  read as follows:
     4    1.  Every  person  applying  for a license to sell alcoholic beverages
     5  pursuant to subdivision four of section  fifty-one,  or  section  fifty-
     6  five, sixty-three, sixty-four, sixty-four-a, sixty-four-c, eighty-one or
     7  eighty-one-a  of  this  chapter shall publish notice thereof pursuant to
     8  subdivision two of this section.
     9    § 2. Paragraphs (a), (b), (c) and (d)  of  subdivision  1  of  section
    10  110-b  of  the alcoholic beverage control law, paragraphs (a) and (b) as
    11  amended and paragraphs (c) and (d) as added by chapter 560 of  the  laws
    12  of 2011, are amended to read as follows:
    13    (a) for a license issued pursuant to section fifty-five, fifty-five-a,
    14  sixty-three,   sixty-four,   sixty-four-a,  sixty-four-b,  sixty-four-c,
    15  sixty-four-d, eighty-one or eighty-one-a of this chapter;
    16    (b) for a renewal under section one hundred  nine  of  this  [chapter]
    17  article   of   a   license   issued   pursuant  to  section  fifty-five,
    18  fifty-five-a,  sixty-three,  sixty-four,   sixty-four-a,   sixty-four-c,
    19  sixty-four-d, eighty-one or eighty-one-a of this chapter if the premises
    20  is located within the city of New York;

         EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.

     1    (c)  for approval of an alteration under section ninety-nine-d of this
     2  chapter if the premises is located within  the  city  of  New  York  and
     3  licensed  pursuant  to  section  fifty-five,  fifty-five-a, sixty-three,
     4  sixty-four,  sixty-four-a,  sixty-four-c,  sixty-four-d,  eighty-one  or
     5  eighty-one-a of this chapter; or
     6    (d) for approval of a substantial corporate change under section nine-
     7  ty-nine-d  of this chapter if the premises is located within the city of
     8  New York and licensed  pursuant  to  section  fifty-five,  fifty-five-a,
     9  sixty-three,   sixty-four,   sixty-four-a,  sixty-four-c,  sixty-four-d,
    10  eighty-one or eighty-one-a of this chapter.
    11    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
