        Introduced  by  Sens. GIANARIS, BAILEY, BRESLIN, BROOKS, HOYLMAN, KAMIN-
          SKY, KRUEGER, SANDERS, SERRANO -- read twice and ordered printed,  and
          when printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations, Author-
          ities and Commissions
 
        AN  ACT to amend chapter 802 of the laws of 1947, relating to facilitat-
          ing the financing and effectuation of air terminals by the Port of New
          York Authority, in relation to prohibiting the provision of assistance
          in the enforcement of certain United States Executive Orders  relating
          to  protecting the nation from foreign terrorist entry, at the facili-
          ties of such port authority
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Chapter 802 of the laws of 1947, relating to facilitating
     2  the financing and effectuation of air terminals by the Port of New  York
     3  Authority, is amended by adding a new section 10-a to read as follows:
     4    §  10-a.  Notwithstanding  any  provision  of  law to the contrary, no
     5  employee or officer of the Port Authority of New  York  and  New  Jersey
     6  shall  provide any aid, resources, assistance, or support to any federal
     7  employee or representative in enforcing the provisions of United  States
     8  Executive  Orders issued on January 27, 2017 and March 6, 2017 regarding
     9  Protecting the Nation From  Foreign  Terrorist  Entry  into  the  United
    10  States, nor may any resources or facilities of the Port Authority of New
    11  York and New Jersey be used for such purpose.
    12    §  2.  This  act  shall take effect upon the enactment into law by the
    13  state of New Jersey of legislation having an identical  effect;  but  if
    14  the  state  of  New  Jersey shall have already enacted such legislation,
    15  then this act shall take effect immediately and provided that the  state
    16  of New Jersey shall notify the legislative bill drafting commission upon
    17  the  occurrence  of the enactment of the provisions provided for in this
    18  act in order that the commission may maintain  an  accurate  and  timely
    19  effective data base of the official text of the laws of the state of New
    20  York  in  furtherance  of  effecting the provisions of section 44 of the
    21  legislative law and section 70-b of the public officers law.
