        Introduced  by  Sen.  GRIFFO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
          and Commissions
 
        AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to the financing
          and/or  refinancing  of  equipment  or  the acquisition, construction,
          reconstruction, or development of facilities by the dormitory authori-

          ty for Young Men's Christian Association-Women's Community  Center  of
          Rome, New York Incorporated
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision  2  of  section  1676  of  the
     2  public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph
     3  to read as follows:
     4    Young  Men's  Christian  Association-Women's Community Center of Rome,
     5  New York Incorporated, for the financing and/or refinancing of equipment
     6  or the acquisition, construction, reconstruction, development,  improve-
     7  ment,  expansion and/or equipping of a facility or facilities and neces-
     8  sary ancillary and related facilities.
     9    § 2. Subdivision 1 of section 1680 of the public  authorities  law  is

    10  amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows:
    11    Young  Men's  Christian  Association-Women's Community Center of Rome,
    12  New York Incorporated, for the financing and/or refinancing of equipment
    13  or the acquisition, construction, reconstruction, development,  improve-
    14  ment,  expansion and/or equipping of a facility or facilities and neces-
    15  sary ancillary and related facilities.
    16    § 3. Any contracts entered into by the dormitory authority pursuant to
    17  this act shall be deemed state contracts within the meaning of that term
    18  as set forth in article 15-A of  the  executive  law,  and  Young  Men's
    19  Christian  Association-Women's Community Center of Rome, New York Incor-
    20  porated shall be deemed, for purposes of this act, a contracting  agency
    21  as that term is used in such article.

    22    § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
