Coronavirus Info

WHERE YOU CAN GET VACCINATED:

PLEASE NOTE: There continue to be challenges finding an available appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine. New batches of appointments are added frequently, so please check periodically each day to maximize your chances to get an appointment for yourself.

The City offers free transportation to and from vaccine sites for adults who are over age 65 or have an ambulatory, visual, intellectual, or developmental disability. To reserve transportation, including ambulette and cab options, call 877-VAX-4-NYC. An operator will walk through eligibility and provide other options over the phone based on the caller’s need.

If you are homebound and unable to travel to a vaccination site, please fill out this interest form (https://forms.cityofnewyork.us/f/homebound) from New York City. This interest form will not schedule an appointment for you, but someone should contact you within a month to discuss your circumstances and schedule an appointment if eligible.

QUESTIONS ABOUT VACCINE SAFETY OR EFFECTIVENESS?

Please discuss any concerns you have with your doctor or with a legitimate medical expert. All vaccines that are currently available have been tested, studied, and approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration under an Emergency Use Authorization and have been determined to be safe for use by the vast majority of individuals. Higher-risk individuals may include people with a history of allergic reaction caused by vaccines, people who are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, people with a condition or undergoing a medical treatment that affects their immune system.
