 - Assemblyman Stirpe and United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand visit Full Boar Craft Brewery, in North Syracuse, New York. Al works with his colleagues in the US Senate to make Central New York a place where agribusinesses, such as craft breweries, can thrive.

- Assemblyman Stirpe wore orange with his Assembly colleagues to raise awareness for the gun violence faced by our communities.
- Assemblyman Stirpe sat down with host Susan Arbetter on "The Capitol Pressroom" to discuss the issue of rising opioid addiction in our communities. They discussed his bill, A9211, which would require insurance companies to provide coverage for at least 90 days of inpatient rehabilitation services.
 - Assemblyman Stirpe welcomed the East Syracuse-Minoa High School Marching Band to Albany to celebrate winning first place in the small school 1 class at the 2015 NYS Field Band Conference Championships. Central New York has great scholastic music programs.
- Assemblyman Al Stirpe works with volunteers to pack and deliver meals for the North Area Meals On Wheels program. Meals On Wheels is always looking for volunteers to help with their mission to feed needy seniors.
- Assemblyman Al Stirpe visited Celebrations Dance Center in North Syracuse to congratulate owner and dance instructor Jennifer "Miss Jen" Gentile on receiving a Woman of Distinction Award.
- Assemblyman Al Stirpe welcomed Mayors and Trustees from Central New York to the floor of the Assembly on February 9, at the NY Conference of Mayors Lobby Day. - Assemblyman Stirpe collected 132 pounds of food for the Food Bank of Central New York at a food drive he hosted during the holiday season.
- Assemblyman Stirpe unloads electronics at an e-recycling event he sponsored at the North Syracuse Central School District Bus Complex. Over 200,000 pounds of electronics were recycled.
- Small business is big business in New York, and Assemblyman Al Stirpe recently visited several small businesses in Manlius, including Kelder’s Cakes, Feats of Clay, and Side Hill Farmers where he learned about the farms that supply the market and eatery.
- Assemblyman Al Stirpe toured Filtertech in Manlius, a global producer of liquid filtration equipment used in many industrial applications.
- Assemblyman Al Stirpe visited all six schools in the Fayetteville-Manlius School District recently. Here he is reading to a class at Fayetteville Elementary.
