“My first session as an elected representative was filled with plenty of good, but lots of frustrations. I’m proud to have spent these six months representing my district, building legislative relationships with both Minority and Majority legislators from across this state and championing important legislation I hope will one day get passed. But the delay in passing some of that important legislation, like Melanie’s Law, leaves me thinking we could have done more in these six months. I’m returning to Dutchess County for the year, ready to reconnect with the community and continue to advocate for your needs.”
