Assemblyman Beephan Announces Signing of East Fishkill Veterans Highway Legislation
EAST FISHKILL, NY — Assemblyman Anil Beephan announced that legislation designating a portion of State Route 376 in honor of East Fishkill’s veterans has officially been signed into law.
The newly designated East Fishkill Veterans Highway will be located along Route 376 near East Fishkill Town Hall, directly across the street from the site of the new East Fishkill Veterans Park. The location will create a lasting tribute to the generations of local men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
“This designation ensures that the service and sacrifice of East Fishkill’s veterans will be recognized for generations to come,” said Assemblyman Beephan. “Placing the East Fishkill Veterans Highway across from the new Veterans Park will create a meaningful and visible tribute in the heart of our community.”
Assemblyman Beephan thanked the East Fishkill American Legion, Manny Bacon Post, for proposing the idea and helping move the initiative forward.
“This effort began with the members of the Manny Bacon Post, and I am grateful to them for suggesting this important tribute,” Beephan said. “It has been a privilege to work alongside the American Legion, Supervisor Nick D’Alessandro and the East Fishkill Town Board to make this a reality.”
Beephan also thanked Senator Rob Rolison for sponsoring and carrying the legislation in the State Senate.
“A special thank you goes to my colleague Senator Rob Rolison for carrying the Senate version of this bill and helping secure its passage through both houses of the Legislature,” Beephan said.
The legislation, A.10742/S.9505, was signed on July 31, 2026, and is now Chapter 189 of the Laws of 2026.
