Brown’s Inaugural Pet Food Drive a Massive Success

Assemblyman Ari Brown (R-Cedarhurst) recently wrapped up his inaugural pet food drive in conjunction with Long Island Cares, a local food bank, collecting over 100 pounds of food for the pets of Long Island. The assemblyman and Long Island Cares hope that more of these animals will stay out of shelters and receive meals at home with their families.

“I am very grateful that Long Island Cares partnered with me in this important endeavor,” Brown said. “I understand how important pets are to families and households and the joy they bring to so many. I am always working toward protecting our furry friends and helping keep our pets with their owners. The less of these animals in our shelters, the better.”
