Curran Celebrates the Opening of Bethlehem Assembly of God Church

Over the weekend, Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st A.D.) joined Pastor Carlos Beltre to celebrate the opening of the Baldwin location of the Bethlehem Assembly of God Church. Originally opened in Valley Stream, the new campus location will allow Spanish-speaking residents of Baldwin and South Hempstead to attend a service in their village. Curran also presented the church with an official New York State Assembly Proclamation.

“I was honored to be invited to the grand opening of the Baldwin Campus of the Bethlehem Assembly of God Church. Pastor Carlos is amazing and I know he will cultivate a great congregation and do so much good for the community. This church sat vacant and fell into disrepair for four years. Bethlehem Assembly rehabilitated the entire building and it is once again a beautiful church for people to gather, worship and do good works together. I am ecstatic for the people of Baldwin as they will be able to experience the great service the Pastor provides, I cannot wait to visit again,” said Curran.
