Maher in Continued Contact with DEC Over Odors In Hudson Valley

Assemblyman Brian Maher (R,C-Walden) has been in contact with the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) over complaints from residents of a strong odor in the air. Maher has already reached out to DEC for updated information on their course of action to test and address the odors that have been noticed by the public.

“I'm currently coordinating with DEC on their comprehensive investigation into the odors being reported by residents in the Hudson Valley. As soon as our team has more information we will let the public know. Please continue to reach out to my office if anyone has questions or concerns,” said Maher.

DEC has determined that there is no imminent threat to public health or the environment. Maher encourages residents in the 101st Assembly District to call his office at 518-455-4807 with any concerns they may have relating to this matter.
