“While other states are booming with job opportunities and spending within reason, New York is struggling to keep residents in the state and failing to deliver a reasonable budget in a timely manner. It’s no wonder our state is ranked so low in terms of economic outlook—our financial future is grim unless substantial changes are made immediately. I fully support my Assembly colleagues in exploring the factors that landed us in such financial upheaval and formulating concrete solutions we can embrace moving forward.”
