Assemblyman Brian Maher Announces Hiring of Jessyca Wolcott as Administrative Aide to Expand Sullivan County Outreach
Meghan Hurlburt, chief of staff and spokesperson for Assemblyman Brian Maher (R,C–Walden), announced today the hiring of Jessyca Wolcott of Livingston Manor as a part-time administrative aide for the 101st Assembly District. Wolcott will focus on increasing outreach and constituent engagement in Sullivan County, particularly in the towns of Rockland, Neversink and Fremont, which were added to the district through the recent redistricting process.
“Expanding our presence in Sullivan County is a top priority for Maher,” said Hurlburt. “Redistricting added new communities to the 101st District, and residents in Rockland, Neversink and Fremont must know they have a strong, accessible voice in Albany. Jessyca’s deep roots in the community and her experience in local government make her an ideal addition to our team as we work to better serve these towns.”
Wolcott is a lifelong Sullivan County resident and graduate of Livingston Manor Central School. She earned an associate’s degree in Mathematics from SUNY Ulster and a Certificate in Bookkeeping. She currently serves as bookkeeper for the Town of Rockland and has professional experience in banking, insurance and local businesses throughout Sullivan and Ulster counties.
She is also the founder and cubmaster of Scouting America Pack 105 in Livingston Manor and an active community volunteer.
Wolcott is a working mother of three and a longtime community volunteer with deep ties to local families, businesses and civic organizations. Her local knowledge and relationships will help strengthen the office’s outreach and constituent services across Sullivan County.
Assemblyman Maher’s office will continue expanding outreach efforts in Sullivan County through community events, constituent services and direct engagement with residents and leaders.
