Assemblymember Charles D. Fall Condemns Terrorist Attack Outside 26 Federal Plaza

It is clear that the incident outside 26 Federal Plaza was not simply a reckless act, it was a deliberate act of terrorism that endangered the lives of New York City residents, public servants, and visitors.

Violence intended to intimidate or advance a political agenda is terrorism, regardless of who commits it or what cause they claim to represent. There is no place for violence or extremism in New York City, and I condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms.

I wish all those injured a swift recovery and commend the security personnel, law enforcement officers, and first responders whose swift and courageous actions prevented further harm.
