Assemblyman Fall Partners with Local Elected Officials and Community Groups for Mother’s Day Outreach Events

Over the weekend, Assemblyman Charles D. Fall (D-Richmond) partnered with Congressman Max Rose, Senator Diane Savino, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Michael Garner, President of One Hundred Black Men, NYPD Muslim Officer Society, Muslims Giving Back, Pakistani American Youth Society and Gyro King in two separate charity events.

The first event took place at Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC), where 100 meals, provided by One Hundred Black Men, hand sanitizer and roses were delivered to dedicated hospital staff and medical professionals that continue to serve residents, even on Mother’s Day. The second event took place in the Park Hill community where over 370 hot meals were distributed to residents in honor of Ramadan. Face masks, hand sanitizer and 2020 Census information were also distributed.

“I want to thank my colleagues in government and the partnering local organizations for ensuring that our health professionals received a special thank you this Mother’s Day, and for spreading positivity by serving community members in need during these trying times.

These two events only show that New Yorkers remain strong and that we are in this healthcare battle together. Collectively we will defeat this pandemic and rise to a new beginning,” said Assemblyman Fall.
