Assemblyman Christopher S. Friend (R,C,I-Big Flats) welcomes constituents and staff from ACHIEVE, a chapter of the Arc of New York. The organization works to support and enhance the lives of those with developmental and other disabilities living in Broome, Chenango and Tioga counties. They work on skill advancement, inclusion, integration and socialization to ensure clients are able to live their most independent lives possible.

“I love the collaborative work that ACHIEVE accomplishes with their clients and staff. I always welcome their visit to the Capitol and enjoy discussing the ways New York can support their unique needs and programs,” said Friend. “They are their best advocates and clearly show to others that those with developmental and other disabilities are an asset to our communities.”
