Assemblyman Colin Schmitt Recognizes South Street Collision as August Small Business of the Month

Goshen, NY — Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C,I,LBT,SAM - New Windsor) has a small business of the month appreciation program to show recognition for a local business in the 99th Assembly District each month. For the month of August, Assemblyman Colin Schmitt recognizes South Street Collision in the Village of Washingtonville.

Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt stated, “South Street Collision has been in operation for 14 years. Owner Jon Iovine is a lifelong area resident, taking special pride in supporting the community he calls home. His passion for cars drew him into the trade along with various projects like his 1990 Mustang and the old-fashioned Coca-Cola vending machine he recently restored. Thank you to Jon and your team for running a local business in our district and congratulations on being named small business of the month.”

John Lovine, owner of South Street Collision, “We would like to thank Assemblyman Colin Schmitt for recognizing us as the 99th Assembly District August Small Business of the Month. These past few years have been tough on small businesses, and the car repair business is no exception. It has been an honor to serve the people of Washingtonville and the surrounding communities for all of their auto repair and collision needs since 2008. My passion for cars and our customers continues to drive me and my staff. We look forward to continuing to bring top-level service for years to come.”
