Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C-Merrick) is promoting his 14^th Annual pet food drive to make sure pets in our area don’t go hungry. The pet food drive will run through the end of May and will benefit Long Island Cares, Baxter’s Pet Pantry. The most needed items are bagged food, canned food, kitty litter and pet toys. Please ensure that all pet food is unopened.

“I wanted to reach out to let you know about my pet food drive to help pets stay at home with their families. Those wishing to donate can drop off pet food at 404 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY, Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This drive will run through the end of May, and we ask that all pet food be unopened and in its original packaging. All food will go to Long Island Cares, Baxter’s Pet Pantry.
