McDonough’s Blood Drive A Success
McDonough, Long Island Blood Services Thank Donors For Their Participation
Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) recently hosted a blood drive with Long Island Blood Services to combat the ongoing blood shortage. Nearly 100 local residents took time out of their day to donate blood, which will be used here on Long Island to help those in need.
“The overwhelming generosity shown by the donors is a reflection of what makes our community so special,” said McDonough. “I want to thank all the local residents who participated for their efforts. Their donations will be used to help those in need right here on Long Island. Without the support of concerned residents, our communities would be facing an even greater blood shortage. I want to thank Long Island Blood Services for their efforts.”
The blood drive collected 78 units of blood, which will be used in communities across Long Island.
